Hear ye! Hear ye!

Luke 4:18-19-“The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me

to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives

and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”

Welcome!

I’m not sure how you stumbled upon this blog but I’m so glad you took the time to visit. You may be wondering the purpose of this blog and I must say there are multiple factors that led me to creating it. My biggest desire is that something I express here touches or encourages the person that reads it. I hope you feel the love of God as you read each blog. Some posts may cause you to be convicted and that’s okay too! Through the exposure or uncovering of hidden/dormant things or even the habits and shortcomings you’ve grown comfortable with; may your desire for healing, deliverance, and wholeness increase. God exposes what has us in bondage or what we allow to control us in order for us to be free and draw near to Him!

I must put the disclaimer out there that I have not arrived at a place of perfection but I am bringing this flesh into submission unto the Holy Spirit daily. I’m on this journey called life just like you and I’m learning and growing everyday. We’re in this together and I can learn from you just as you can learn from me! I admonish you to not only allow the Holy Spirit to minister to you through this website but share with family, friends, or anyone you think may benefit! The website may bear my name but this is God’s website and I’m just one of many willing, chosen vessels available for His use!

In creating this blog I have stepped outside of my comfort zone and given God my complete yes. My life is not my own! We have the choice to exercise our free will but I’ve made the choice to be fully obedient. I’ve made up in my mind that it’s better to surrender to His will than to do things my way! I relinquish control no matter how uncomfortable it is or how out of the norm it is for me! I pray you make the choice to do the same.

With love,

Jess
